Turkish Airlines Expands Canadian Presence with More Flights

Turkish Airlines is strengthening its presence in Canada through expanded flight service and a high-profile partnership with one of the country’s premier sporting events.

Beginning in July 2026, the airline will increase service between Canada and Istanbul, adding more weekly flights across its three Canadian gateways. Service from Toronto Pearson International Airport will rise to daily operations, while Montréal–Trudeau International Airport and Vancouver International Airport will each receive four weekly flights to Istanbul.

The increased airlift reflects the airline’s growing investment in the Canadian market and provides travellers with greater access to Turkish Airlines’ extensive global network of more than 350 destinations across Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East.

In addition to expanding operations, Turkish Airlines will also raise its brand visibility through its sponsorship of the 2026 RBC Canadian Open, Canada’s only official PGA Tour event. The tournament is scheduled to take place from June 10 to June 14, 2026, at the North Course at TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley.

As part of the sponsorship, Turkish Airlines will host several fan engagement activities throughout tournament week. Visitors at The Fare Way will be able to enjoy refreshments, interactive experiences and contests, including an opportunity to win two roundtrip tickets to any destination served by the airline.

The airline will also introduce an upgraded premium lounge overlooking the 18th hole. The 2,000-square-foot custom-built space will feature panoramic glass-wall views, a Turkish coffee and tea station, curated food offerings for breakfast and lunch, snack service, and complimentary shoulder massages for guests.

The partnership highlights Turkish Airlines’ continued efforts to strengthen its connection with Canadian travellers while aligning its brand with major international sporting and lifestyle events.
