Istanbul-New Direct Flights From Vancouver.
Turkish Airlines will launch service from Vancouver with three weekly flights in June, making YVR the third Canadian gateway for the carrier.
Starting June 9, 2020, the airline will operate three weekly YVR-IST flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, bringing Turkish’s number of weekly Canadian flights to 12; currently, Turkish Airlines operates six weekly flights to Toronto and three to Montreal.
Roundtrip flights to Vancouver will be serviced with the B787-900 Dreamliner aircraft with 30 Business and 270 Economy seat capacity.
Turkish Airlines operate the world’s largest international flight network.
Air Transat's AirPet In Cabin Now Available On Connecting Flights.
AirPet in cabin service available on connecting flights Air Transat’s pet in cabin service is now available on connecting flights for passengers in Economy Class.
To improve its customer experience, the airline has extended its current pet in cabin policy to include connecting flights. Hence, cats and dogs 10 kg (22 lb) or less (including the weight of the pet carrier) are allowed on most flights, with the carrier placed under the seat in front of the traveller.
Passengers who wish to fly with their pet in the aircraft’s cabin can contact the Information and Seat Selection Centre at 1-877-Transat or reserve at the airport.
However, the number of animals allowed per flight is limited. The cost per pet is $50 for flights within Canada, to/from the South and U.S., and $90 for Europe.
Another New Service From YVR To Orange County, California.
Air Canada is heading to Santa Ana in Orange County, California, with new daily nonstop service from Vancouver kicking off this summer.
Beginning June 15, flight AC576 will depart YVR at 9:00 a.m., arriving at SNA at 11:59 a.m. Return flight AC577, also daily, will depart SNA at 12:40 p.m., touching down at YVR at 3:27 p.m.
Service will be onboard the Air Canada Airbus A319 featuring 14 Business Class and 106 Economy seats.
Special introductory fares start at $187 one-way, all in.
Tickets are now available for purchase until March 17, 2020, for travel between June 15 and Sept. 30, 2020.
In addition to offering direct flights to the iconic tourism, sports and entertainment attractions that Orange County is known for, their new flights will also conveniently link the increasing start-up, tech and innovator businesses that both Vancouver and southern California are home to.
Air Canada’s Orange County flights will also offer a wide array of connections across Canada and to Australia and India via their YVR hub.
