We’re super happy to announce the Riviera Nayarit recently reopened its beaches to locals and tourists. There’s nothing better than kicking back on a beach in the Riviera Nayarit and working on your tan! We know you might have a few doubts about what’s going on, we’re ready to answer all the questions. Keep reading for details to keep yourself in the know for your next vacation or weekend getaway.
All of them! From Nuevo Vallarta all the way through San Blas to El Novillero, all 23 micro-destinations that make up the Riviera Nayarit and their respective beaches are open to the public. In other words, you can visit Sayulita, San Pancho, Lo de Marcos, Chacala, or Platanitos.
All the safety measures being implemented on the beaches of the Riviera Nayarit include:
Wearing a mask upon your arrival and exit from the beach
Social distancing between one group and another (fortunately, the beaches of the Riviera Nayarit are very wide)
Bringing antibacterial hand sanitizer to constantly disinfect your hands
Maintaining your social distance in the water, too (thank you)
Each beach is open to 30% capacity (please take the time to get there on time)
Yes! After a long wait, the hotels have worked on preparing their facilities to welcome you back again. Deep-cleaning protocols and safe travel certificates are allowing the Riviera Nayarit hotels to operate at 30% total occupancy. They have also implemented hygiene measures to allow you to enjoy the vacation you’ve been postponing. For more information on each hotel’s hygiene protocols, we recommend you contact the resort of your choice directly.
Yes! You can walk around the streets in the Riviera Nayarit’s micro-destinations and browse for souvenirs or local artwork. Remember to always wear your mask and use antibacterial hand sanitizer.
