The Ten Thousand Buddhas Monastery is Hong Kong's most iconic temple. It is built in 1957. With over 430 steeps and a direct pathway visitors need to climb up to reach the off-beaten-path complex. Along the way you can see life-sized gold painted Buddha statues. Once you are on the top you will have a beautiful view of Sha Tin and ca discover the five temples, four pavilions, and the pagoda.

Petra in Jordan

The city Petra belongs also to the Seven Wonders of the World and is located in the southern part of Jordan. It is famous for their rock-cut architecture and water system. The whole city is built in red stone and called also the Rose city. Petra was built in the 4th century B.C and it took over 500 years to build this city.
