There's a new choice for travelers who want to see the world from the sea, and it's on a recently renovated ship.
The itinerary for Celebrity Cruises' newest and longest trip, scheduled to depart in 2026, was unveiled on Tuesday. Approximately three months longer than the longest itinerary Celebrity now offers (19-night Tahiti sailings), the cruise will last 110 nights. The voyage will last as long as a conventional world cruise, although not being a full round-the-world cruise.
Launched on September 13, 2026, in Vancouver, British Columbia, the 2,852-passenger Celebrity Solstice—recent from a glow-up—will begin the Grand Voyage, as the line is referring to it. The voyage will make stops at 55 locations throughout 15 countries, never at the same port, before coming to an end in Hong Kong on December 31, 2026.
Celebrity Grand Voyage details
Celebrity Solstice will navigate Alaska's fjords and tunnels after departing Vancouver. In Alaska's southern ports, travelers can take in views of Hubbard Glacier, go on animal observation excursions, go on outdoor adventures, or learn about the customs and culture of the area.
The ship will set sail from the Last Frontier and make stops in Hawaii, French Polynesia, and Fiji on its way across the Pacific. Pristine coral reefs, protected ecoparks and tropical rainforests provide something for cruisers to discover at each destination.
Australia, Vanuatu, and New Zealand are the next destinations. Travelers may enjoy some of the world's oldest cultures, as well as the region's varied animals and gorgeous scenery. Visitors won't want to miss the chance to see the geological marvel and Maori historical center, the Ruakuri Caves.
Finally, travelers visiting Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, and Hong Kong will find themselves surrounded by modern cities, picturesque beaches, and old temples.
About Celebrity Solstice
One of the line's Solstice Class ships is Celebrity Solstice. The upper deck of the ship is home to the cutting-edge, half-acre Lawn Club area (complete with genuine grass). It also has an outdoor pool and an indoor pool, so you may swim there year-round. There are several different places to eat, ranging from the main eating area that is included in the ticket price, to specialty restaurants like Murano (French), Sushi on Five (Asian), and Tuscan Grille (Italian).
The line has not yet disclosed the specifics of the refit, although the ship is expected to undergo a dry dock before embarking on its months-long journey.
