Be careful bed bugs! Here are some tips to manage your bed

During your adorable trips, it is really important to take a rest and sleep in the clean room. It means you need to check the cleanliness of your room. So, you need to check for bed bugs. Bed bugs bite people and they can be with you after you coming back home.

Then is it better to choose expensive and luxury hotels? Not at all. These bed bugs are living in the majority of hotels around the world including 5-star hotel, a cheap hotel and motel.

As travel experts suggest, before unpacking your bags or putting them on the bed, please turn off lights, close any shades, and use the flashlight using your phone. And then place your suitcase in the bathroom which is the safest place because bed bugs aren’t willing to hide in the bathroom. They are likely to stay under the bed and in any dark nooks and crannies of the room.

To eliminate bed bugs, pull back the sheets and inspect the mattress seams including the corners. Also, check behind the headboard, inside couch, chair cushions, behind picture frames and around electrical sockets.

If you feel something suspicious, let hotels and managers know this fact, and then you can change rooms or establishments immediately. When you change your rooms, keep in mind that you don’t move to a room near your previous room or directly above or below the suspected room. Bed bugs can easily move via housekeeping carts, luggage and through wall sockets. Even though you are sure your room is clear of any bed bugs, please pace your suitcase in a plastic trash bag or protective cover during the trip.

Here are some tips to avoid bed bugs after returning home. You should inspect your luggage before bringing it into the house. And then vacuum your luggage thoroughly. You can use a garment hand steamer to steam your bag and it will help to kill any bed bugs or eggs.

To clean your clothes, wash and dry all of your clothes including what you haven’t worn. To prevent those pests from living in your closet, you should wash your clothing at hot temperature.
