Holland America Line Schedules 2027 Alaska Cruise Tours

Holland America Line has announced details of its 2027 Alaska Cruisetour season, marking the company’s 80th year sailing in Alaska. The program combines Alaska cruises with inland exploration, pairing voyages aboard ships such as Koningsdam, Nieuw Amsterdam, Westerdam, and Zaandam with overland travel to Denali National Park and select itineraries extending into Canada’s Yukon.

The 2027 offering includes 19 Cruisetour options designed to blend scenic cruising through the Inside Passage with immersive land experiences highlighting glaciers, wildlife, and wilderness landscapes. Several itineraries feature extended inland stays, rail journeys aboard the glass-domed McKinley Explorer between cruise ports and Denali, optional excursions on the historic White Pass & Yukon Route Railway from Skagway, and direct ship-to-lodge transfers.

A key highlight of the season is the expanded Holland America Denali Lodge, a privately owned property located near Denali National Park. Ahead of 2027, the lodge is undergoing significant enhancements, including new guestroom buildings, an upgraded main lodge with expanded dining and coffee service, refreshed public areas, and improved trail wayfinding. The upgrades are designed to enhance the land portion of Cruisetours and support longer stays in Alaska’s interior.

For a limited time, Holland America is also introducing an inclusive Cruisetour dining package when booked with the “Have It All Early Booking Bonus.” Valued at up to US$829 for the land portion, the package includes breakfast and dinner at select properties in Denali, Skagway, and Dawson City, lunch aboard the McKinley Explorer, and meals during select excursions such as the Tundra Wilderness Tour.

By integrating coastal cruising with inland travel under a single, coordinated itinerary, Holland America’s 2027 Alaska Cruise tours aim to deliver a comprehensive experience of the region’s natural beauty and cultural heritage—both at sea and on land.
