Riviera Maya is set to welcome a major new all-inclusive resort development, with a 980-room property scheduled to open in 2027 under the Marriott International portfolio.
The new resort will be developed by Grupo Satli and operated by Aimbridge Hospitality through its specialized All-Inclusive Division. Once completed, the property will join the Marriott Hotels All-Inclusive collection.
Set on a 445-acre beachfront site with more than 1,300 feet of shoreline, the resort is designed to become one of the region’s largest hospitality projects. Plans include 13 dining and beverage venues, 12 swimming pools and water areas, a large spa facility, a lazy river, two tennis courts, and a wide range of entertainment and recreational amenities.
The resort will also target the meetings and events market with more than 43,000 square feet of indoor function space, making it suitable for conferences, weddings, and group travel.
The project represents the first Marriott Hotels & Resorts branded all-inclusive property in the Riviera Maya region, further expanding Marriott’s footprint in Mexico’s popular Caribbean destination.
The addition also strengthens Aimbridge Hospitality’s growing portfolio in Latin America, where the company already manages Marriott-branded properties in destinations including Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Puebla, Playa del Carmen, and Tulum.
