Porter Airlines has launched new nonstop service between Ottawa International Airport and John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport, giving travellers a direct link between Canada’s capital and Southern Ontario’s Golden Horseshoe region.
The airline is the only carrier operating this route, offering twice-daily flights on the 78-seat De Havilland Dash 8-400, with no middle seats and complimentary onboard service including snacks, beer, and wine.
Andrew Pierce, Vice President of Network Planning and Reporting at Porter Airlines, said the new route strengthens connections between two key markets and enhances travel options for both business and leisure passengers.
The service also provides onward connections through Ottawa to Atlantic Canada, including Charlottetown, Fredericton, and Moncton.
With this launch, Hamilton travellers now have nonstop access to 13 Porter destinations, while the airline continues to expand connectivity across the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area.
