Porter Airlines has introduced new non-stop service between Ottawa International Airport (YOW) and Kelowna International Airport (YLW), further expanding its growing Western Canada network.
The new route begins with five weekly roundtrip flights and will increase to six weekly flights in June. Porter is currently the only airline offering direct service between Ottawa and Kelowna.
Kelowna now becomes Porter’s second destination in the Okanagan region, alongside existing service from Toronto Pearson.
Flight Schedule
Route | Departure | Arrival |
Ottawa (YOW) to Kelowna (YLW) | 9:50 a.m. | 11:45 a.m. |
Kelowna (YLW) to Ottawa (YOW) | 12:40 p.m. | 8:00 p.m. |
All times are local.
Flights are operated using Porter’s 132-seat Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, featuring a two-by-two seating configuration with no middle seats.
The new route strengthens Porter’s Western Canada network from Ottawa, which already includes Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, Victoria, and Winnipeg.
According to Porter, the added service will help support both tourism and business travel between the regions while also improving access from Kelowna to Eastern Canadian destinations such as Halifax and St. John’s through Ottawa connections.
Flights are now available for booking through Porter Airlines.
