Porter Begins Upgrading Dash 8 Cabin Interiors

Porter Airlines has started modernizing the interiors of its 29 De Havilland Dash 8-400 aircraft, with the full fleet expected to be upgraded by fall 2026.

The refreshed cabins feature new lightweight seats with improved cushioning, redesigned tray tables, and built-in holders for personal electronic devices. Additional enhancements include LED mood lighting, LED reading lights, and new carpeting.

The aircraft will continue to offer the same seating configuration, including 32 inches of legroom in PorterReserve, 30 inches in PorterClassic, and a two-by-two seating layout with no middle seats.

The upgraded Dash 8-400 aircraft operate on Porter's regional routes across Eastern Canada and the United States, providing passengers with a more modern and comfortable travel experience.
