T’way Air to Launch Vancouver Flights in July

South Korea’s T’way Air will begin service to North America on July 12, launching four weekly flights between Seoul Incheon and Vancouver using Airbus A330-300 aircraft. The move adds competition on a route currently dominated by Air Canada and Korean Air and brings an estimated 2,700 new weekly seats.

This marks a major step in T’way’s long-haul expansion, following recent European launches. The airline’s growth has been supported by leased widebody jets and route access linked to Korean Air’s merger with Asiana.

The Vancouver route is expected to attract both leisure travelers and Canada’s Korean community, while increasing pressure on existing transpacific fares.
