Walt Disney World Reveals New Attraction, Spring 2027 Deals and Returning Events

Walt Disney World Resort is preparing for a busy Spring 2027 season with a new attraction at Disney's Hollywood Studios, seasonal offers and the return of popular festivals and special events.

New Attraction at Hollywood Studios

The new Magic of Disney Animation experience is set to open September 14 at Disney's Hollywood Studios as part of the reimagined Animation Courtyard.

Inspired by the Walt Disney Animation Studios campus in Burbank, California, the new experience will feature interactive areas, character encounters and animation-themed exhibits.

Guests can explore Off the Page!, where Disney characters appear in spaces inspired by different stages of animation production. Olaf Draws! will offer visitors the opportunity to learn how to draw characters with guidance from Disney Animation artists.

The area will also feature Drawn to Wonderland, an indoor play space inspired by Alice in Wonderland artwork, along with the Once Upon A Studio Theater and an art gallery showcasing Disney animated characters.

Spring 2027 Events

Travellers visiting Walt Disney World in Spring 2027 will have several seasonal events to enjoy, along with special offers and vacation package opportunities during select travel periods.

The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts returns from January 15 through March 1, 2027. The festival will feature visual, culinary and performing arts, along with the Disney on Broadway Concert Series and Disney Lorcana Trading Card Game-themed experiences.

The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival follows from March 10 through May 31. Highlights include character topiaries, gardens, floral displays, Outdoor Kitchens and the Garden Rocks Concert Series.

Disney After Hours will also return on select nights at Magic Kingdom, Disney's Hollywood Studios and EPCOT. These limited-capacity events allow guests to enjoy the parks after regular closing, with select attractions, snacks and bottled beverages included with admission.

Magic Kingdom will host Disney After Hours on select nights from January 11 through July 19. Hollywood Studios will offer the event from January 16 through August 25, while EPCOT will host it from January 21 through August 19.
