A Sneak Peek at Windstar's Star Seeker: The Ultimate Small Ship Experience

Windstar Cruises has just unveiled a tantalizing first look at its newest addition to the fleet, the Star Seeker, set to make waves when it debuts in January 2026. This luxurious vessel promises to redefine the small-ship cruise experience with its unique design and exclusive features.

What to Expect Aboard the Star Seeker

Star Seeker is designed to accommodate 224 guests in opulent comfort, featuring 112 suites, each meticulously crafted to offer unparalleled relaxation. Over 100 of these suites will boast either a private veranda or a striking floor-to-ceiling infinity window, merging the boundary between indoor luxury and the great outdoors.

Windstar has taken its signature Watersports Platform to the next level, ensuring that adventure enthusiasts have plenty of room to indulge in their favorite water activities.

Exclusive Features and Accommodations

The ship will introduce several innovative suite categories, including the Horizon Owner’s Suites—an exclusive offering with wrap-around balconies. These suites can be combined with adjacent ones, making them ideal for multi-generational families or groups traveling together.

With 72 suites featuring expansive verandas and 30 infinity suites equipped with large floor-to-ceiling windows, guests will enjoy exceptional views and breezy ocean air. Each suite is designed as a tranquil retreat, a perfect sanctuary for unwinding after a day of exploration.

Dining and Wellness

Onboard, guests can choose from five diverse dining options, each crafted to delight the palate. The Star Seeker will also feature a full-service spa and a state-of-the-art fitness center, ensuring that wellness and relaxation are central to the cruising experience.

Voyages and Destinations

The maiden voyage of the Star Seeker will be a Transatlantic crossing from Malaga to Miami, followed by a naming ceremony in Miami. The ship will then embark on its first Caribbean cruise before heading up the West Coast for a summer season in Alaska. Later in the year, it will explore the scenic coasts of Japan and Southeast Asia.

Windstar is also set to launch its sister ship, the Star Explorer, in December 2026, further expanding its fleet with these luxurious small ships.

Get ready to embark on a journey of unmatched comfort and adventure with the Star Seeker—where every detail is designed to elevate your cruising experience to new heights.
