Air Canada Enhances European Travel With New Routes and Expanded Services


Air Canada is revolutionizing travel between North America and Europe in the summer of 2025. With new routes and expanded services, travelers will have more options than ever to explore the continent with enhanced connectivity and convenience.


New Nonstop Routes

The upcoming spring and summer season introduces three exciting new nonstop routes:

Montreal to Porto: Starting in June, this new route allows travelers to explore the captivating Portuguese city where historic charm meets modern luxury. Flights will operate three times weekly.

Montreal to Naples: Launching in May, this route provides access to Naples, a destination renowned for its rich history, stunning art, and world-class culinary scene. Service will run four times weekly.

Toronto to Prague: Beginning in June, this route invites travelers to discover Prague’s enchanting landscape of grand castles and romantic bridges. Flights will operate three times weekly.


Increased Frequencies and Earlier Seasonal Starts

Air Canada is significantly expanding its European network from both Toronto and Montreal:


From Toronto:

  1. Stockholm: Frequency increased from 2 to 4 weekly flights

  2. Madrid: Upgraded to daily service

  3. Athens: Seasonal start moved earlier to March

  4. Barcelona: Seasonal start moved earlier to March

  5. Brussels: Seasonal start moved earlier to March

  6. Edinburgh: Seasonal start moved earlier to March


From Montreal:

  1. Reykjavik: Seasonal start moved earlier to May

  2. Dublin: Increased from 3 to 4 weekly flights

  3. Madrid: Increased from 4 to 5 weekly flights

  4. Seamless Continent-Wide Connections


Beyond direct flights, Air Canada has partnered with major rail and coach systems to provide unmatched travel flexibility. Collaborations with AccesRail, Lufthansa Express Rail, and WorldTicket allow travelers to connect seamlessly to 11 major passenger rail and intercity coach networks throughout Europe.
