In the main town in Huatulco "La Crucecita", you can start your Huatulco city tour at the church with the biggest painting in the world of the virgin of Guadalupe. Then, spend some free time doing shopping at the handicraft store. come to see how the looms are used, you will find tablecloths, rugs, black pottery and traditional clothing, all representative of Oaxacan culture and traditions and made by hand.


End your city tour by visiting one of the many restaurants in town. You will delight a part of the Oaxaca’s gastronomy try specialties like grasshoppers toasted in salt and chili, mole, and Oaxacan chocolate.


Its sea breeze will fill you as the last sun rays leave their essence on your skin; that is how you will feel in any of Huatulco’s nine bays. They are altogether called Bays National Park and they were declared a protected reserve. Each one displays natural beauty in its own way. Huatulco is an earthly paradise.

The nine Huatulco Bays stretch 20 miles along the coast: San Agustin, Chachacual, Cacaluta, Maguey, Organo, Santa Cruz, Chahue, Tangolunda and Conejos.

Huatulco National Park was declared a Protected Natural Area in 1998 and boasts more than twenty-seven thousand acres. It is home to hundreds of species of plants and animals, both on land and in the sea.

Walk along the narrow wooded paths and listen the chirping of birds while you gaze at the gentle sea. Enjoy park's paths on foot, a horse, a bicycle, or an all-terrain vehicle. Charter a boat or yacht trip in one of the bays near the park. The local guides will help you to explore the park's surrounding areas.

Lean out from the La Entrega viewpoint. From here, you can see the synergy of this natural paradise and the diversity of its flora and fauna and, in the distance, you will be able to see the international dock of Bahía Santa Cruz.
