Sunwing Reinstates Free Checked Bags

Sunwing Vacations is restoring its free first checked baggage benefit for all travel departing November 25, 2025. The decision comes after strong feedback from both travel partners and customers.

All inclusive vacation packages will once again include one complimentary checked bag and one carry-on bag per traveler. The update applies to both new and existing bookings, ensuring all customers receive the full all inclusive experience regardless of when they booked.

Travellers who previously paid for their first checked bag on an existing Sunwing booking will receive a future travel voucher valued at 100 dollars for each round-trip bag purchased. Travel advisors will receive these vouchers by email and can forward them directly to their clients. No additional steps are required to issue them. For customers who have upcoming travel but did not prepay for baggage, a free checked bag will be automatically added to their booking.

Sunwing Vacations notes that this enhancement adds extra value for customers during Black Friday promotions and throughout future sales periods.
