Sunwing Vacations Now Operates on WestJet Flights

We’re pleased to inform you that Sunwing Vacations has now fully transitioned to operate exclusively on WestJet aircraft, following the completion of the Sunwing–WestJet merger. This change brings several important updates to the travel experience that our clients should be aware of when booking with Sunwing Vacations:

• Flight Check-In: All Sunwing Vacations customers will now check in at WestJet counters at the airport, or online via Westjet.com or the WestJet app (online and app check-in is available 24 hours before departure).

• Reservation Code Access: WestJet reservation codes, needed for check-in, will be available through Sunwing’s “Manage My Booking” platform five days prior to departure.

• Carry-On Allowance: Passengers are allowed one free personal item and one free carry-on item.

• Early Booking Baggage Offer: Book your Sunwing Vacations package at least two months in advance and receive your first checked bag free (restrictions apply based on booking and travel dates).

• Last-Minute Baggage: For late bookings, checked bags can be purchased starting from $35 each.

• Seat Selection Options: Clients may choose Standard Economy or Exit Row seats starting from $15. Extended Comfort seating is available on select routes for an additional charge.

• Manage Ancillaries: Services such as baggage, seat selection, and excursions can be added through “Manage My Booking” up to 24 hours before your flight.
