Villa Vie Residences, a residential cruise line specializing in long-term travel experiences, has announced World Uncharted — a record-breaking 301-day global voyage set to depart in November 2027. Spanning five continents and over 100 countries, this ambitious journey will offer travelers a rare opportunity to explore remote and iconic destinations at a relaxed pace.
Unlike traditional cruises that move quickly between ports, World Uncharted aboard the Villa Vie Odyssey is designed for immersive, extended stays — with many destinations offering up to five days ashore. The itinerary includes travel through the Amazon rainforest, a passage through the Panama Canal, landings in the Falkland Islands and Easter Island, and exploration of Greenland and Antarctica.
The onboard environment is built to support long-term living, featuring amenities like a business center with high-speed Starlink internet, laundry and housekeeping services, and a strong sense of community among residents. Designed as more than just a cruise, the voyage promotes a floating lifestyle where travelers form lasting friendships as they explore the world together.
Fares for Oceanview Villas start at $38,799, equating to under $129 per person per day based on double occupancy. The price includes accommodations, meals, internet, laundry, housekeeping, and beer and wine with meals. The Friends & Family program allows residents to host guests for $129 per day.
Currently, the Villa Vie Odyssey is sailing its North American route, with an extended Alaska season on the horizon before heading to Japan. The cruise line is also set to host its U.S. inaugural and press event on June 18, 2025, at Catalina Island, near Los Angeles.
