Each cruise line has various Wi-Fi plans and let’s review Wi-Fi on each cruise line (river and ocean). Because the price can change frequently and vary by sailing or ship within the same fleet, we don’t suggest the price.
AmaWaterways
All Europe river cruises provide free unlimited Wi-Fi. In Vietnam and Cambodia, free Wi-Fi service is only available in the lounge. In Africa, you can enjoy the free Wi-Fi service but could be spotty.
Avalon Waterways
All Avalon ships in Europe and Egypt have ship-wide complimentary Wi-Fi. On the Mekong and Ganges, free Wi-Fi is available only in the Panorama Lounge.

Azamara – 3 Packages

- Unlimited full-voyages passes.
Each package can be used with only one device at a time and this don’t support Skype, VolP, VPN connections and other high-bandwidth programs.
Carnival Cruise Line – 3 Packages; Social Wi-Fi, Value Wi-Fi, Premium Wi-Fi.
Social Wi-Fi : You can use the most popular social media websites and apps including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, FB Messenger, WhatsApp, Snapchat and most airline sites.
Value Wi-Fi : This provides access to all the above, and plus e-mail, news, entertainment except for streaming sites, sports, weather, banking and finance websites.
Premium Wi-Fi : It provides access to all the above at the fastest connection available, and it is 3 times faster than the Value Plan. In addition, it supports apps like Zoom, Skype, Team video calling and more.
These 3 plans don’t support video or music streaming like Hulu, Spotify, Pandora, however, you can use Netflix by using the Premium Plan. Each package can be used with only one device at a time. VPN connections are not supported.
Celebrity Cruises – 2 Packages
Basic : You can browse the web, send emails and text messages via select messaging apps. It doesn’t support email of large files, photo or video sharing on social media, use of streaming apps or making video calls.
Premium : It includes all things in Basic plan, and you can use message service, video chatting, sending large files, posting on social media, and streaming videos, movies, TV and music.
Cunard – 2 Packages
Essential : It provides access to web browsing, email, music streaming and social media.
Premium : It includes all Essential plan service and you can use video streaming service at the faster connection speeds than the Essential Plan.
Disney Cruise Line – 4 Packages
Stay Connected : The smallest package is perfect for those who plan to spend one or two emails, check social media apps. However, you can’t upload any photos and do similar low bandwidth activities.
Basic Surf : Including the Basis Surf package, cruisers can stay connected to family and friends via social media, including uploading photos, check and send email, and other do other basic Internet-related activities.
Premium Surf : It is one of the largest package.
24-Hour Packages : Each of the above packages can be purchased for the full cruise or for a 24-hour period.
