Air Canada launches Three New B.C. Routes.
Air Canada Rouge will add THREE new non-stop, seasonal domestic flights in June, including:
Toronto to Nanaimo.
Toronto to Kamloops.
Montreal to Victoria.
Toronto-Nanaimo will operate June 21 until Oct. 8.
Both Toronto-Kamloops and Montreal-Victoria operating between June 22 and Oct. 9. All flights will operate with 136-seat A319 aircraft.
Toronto-Kamloops starts June 22 and runs until Oct. 9 on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Flight AC1977 departs Toronto at 9:45 a.m. AC1976 departs Kamloops at 12:15 p.m.
Out of Montreal, flight AC1685 departs at 7:45 a.m. on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Leaving Victoria, flight AC1684 leaves at 11:05 a.m. Flights start June 22 and run until Oct. 9.
All three of the new routes are operated on Air Canada Rouge 136-seat A319s with Premium and Economy class.
-------------------------------------WestJet Unveils New Connections To Alberta Cities
WestJet has introduced a new regional air service, WestJet Link, that will connect the communities of Lethbridge, Lloydminster, Medicine Hat, Cranbrook and Prince George to the airline’s network hub at the YYC Calgary Airport.
The new service will operate under a capacity purchase agreement (CPA) with Pacific Coastal Airlines, whose fleet of 34-seat Saab 340B aircraft will be used for the flights and painted in WestJet colours. Each aircraft will also include six seats available in WestJet Plus.
WestJet’s new Calgary-Lethbridge route will fly three times daily, effective March 7, 2018.
Its Calgary-Lloydminster service will fly once daily, beginning March 14, 2018,
The Calgary-Medicine Hat service is to take flight three times daily – beginning May 31, 2018.
The service between Calgary and Cranbrook operates three times daily, beginning March 7, 2018.
The Calgary-Prince George route is to operate once daily, effective March 14, 2018. Reduced frequency is expected on weekends and some holiday.

American Airlines Expands Out Of YVR
American Airlines will expand its Western Canada service in 2018, with flights from Vancouver and Calgary to Chicago O’Hare International Airport.
While increasing capacity from other Canadian gateways.
Flights from YVR will launch on May 4 and will operate year-round, using 160 seat Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
The new services will offer a Business Class cabin, Main Cabin Extra seating and inflight WiFi.
Services will be available to book from
Dec. 4.
